"Le Gauche Papillion" means "The Clumsy Butterfly". The name came about from a group of left over letters from a wall art project. French is my favorite language and even though I am not fluent. The studio has been moved twice and it takes on a new life each time. My weekends are spent in thrift and antique stores. Our entire house was created from secondhand items that have been repurposed. I am never afraid of something a that has wear and tear. To me it all salvagable!

Candle holder

The bottom half of this was the base for something else at one point. I think it may have had a dish attached. The top of this peice is a globe from a hanging fixture. I have fixed them together, painted the fairy and added the trim. This would be perfect for a candle or even candy.
